SamsungGalaxy_S4_review_03-580-90Although iPhone 5 reigned as the best-selling Smartphone in the fourth quarter of 2012, Apple should look after Samsung’s next move as they release their 5-inch display Galaxy S4 this year. But what can the upcoming Galaxy Smartphone installation offer that we haven’t seen on Samsung Galaxy S3?

With a tag-line “Creating a richer, simpler and fuller life,” Samsung’s much-awaited Galaxy S4 Smartphone presents bigger screen, thinner body and extraordinary features. First, Samsung made the screen wider, longer, and in full HD; making Smartphone interaction clearer. The company also made an overhaul on its body size by making the device slimmer at 7.99 mm. And lastly, consumers will expect better and advanced Smartphone features such as wireless charging, air gesture functionality, and Smart stay, pause and play option.

Air gesture functionality is one of its best features. Users can now interact with their phone without touching the screen. You can preview videos or instantly hit the speed dial of your contact by hovering your finger above the screen. Samsung also focused on developing their patented Smart pause function and included WatchON feature, so users can wirelessly connect their Smartphone through their big TV screen and watch their videos.

“If the Samsung Galaxy S4 is as successful as its predecessor and manages to create the perfect combination of phone and tablet, the shift in consumer behavior toward mobile devices as the primary computing devices will certainly accelerate,” Bill Ready wrote in his Techcrunch.com article.

It added, “along with that will be a meaningful acceleration in the opportunities and threats that are posed by consumers shifting to mobile.”

In addition, you can also watch Samsung’s video advertorial presentation of their new Galaxy S4 on YouTube. But apart from their Galaxy series, the Korean company was also recently reported developing their own smart wristwatch device to match the iWatch. Apple should better watch their back because it’s the year of the Android until 2016.
